New country entry

ExactTarget is one of the world’s leading Marketing Automation vendors with a cloud-based cross-channel Digital Marketing platform sold to consumer-centric verticals, such as Retail, CPG and Media/Broadcast. As part of Salesforce after a successful IPO and then $2.5 billion acquisition, they remain one of the fastest growing and leading SaaS vendors globally with annual growth rates for the past six years between +40% and +65%. We first became involved with ExactTarget as they launched in Europe in 2009 and spent five years making key leadership and high-impact hires for them across Europe as they came to dominate the Multi-channel Marketing space.

Large scale European hiring

WebEx is the leading Web Conferencing/Unified Communications platform vendor and was one of the first truly successful SaaS companies, alongside The company was acquired for $3.2 billion by Cisco Systems and had grown to $380m revenues at the point of being acquired. We first became involved with WebEx as they launched in Europe in 2002 and spent three years working with them as they scaled their international business massively.

Large scale European hiring

hybris is today a $300m+ revenue leading player in the Enterprise B2C eCommerce, B2B eCommerce and PIM software markets – competing with Oracle (ATG) and IBM Websphere Commerce, amongst others – and acquired by SAP for well in excess of $1 billion. The company is headquartered in Germany with subsidiaries across the globe and is now the number two player globally in its market according to most Analysts - and the leading player in Europe. We first became involved with hybris as an 80 employee company in 2008/9 in supporting the CEO grow the international business and make senior and critically important hires across EMEA.

Enterprise sales up-skilling
MatrixOne was one of the leading Enterprise PLM Software vendors, competing with Agile Software (now Oracle) and UGS (now Siemens PLM), and headquartered in Boston. MatrixOne was acquired by Dassault Systemes (headquartered in Paris and Europe’s 2nd largest software vendor after SAP) for $408m and rebranded ENOVIA. At the time, MatrixOne was a 500 employee business with global revenues of $124m. The Dassault Systemes PLM business remains the global Enterprise PLM leader today.
